When a client came to us with a new opportunity. Designing custom wine carriers for a key customer. We knew we had to combine sustainability, functionality, and thoughtful design into one seamless solution.
The customer needed wine totes that could hold 2, 4, and 6 bottles, and every element had to reflect their commitment to natural, recycled materials. So, we got to work.
Material-First Thinking
We began by exploring a wide range of eco-conscious materials that met both durability and aesthetic standards. From cotton canvas to juteco (a jute and cotton blend), washable kraft paper, and RPET non-woven fabrics. Each material told its own sustainability story.
Not only did these options meet the client’s environmental requirements, but they also allowed us to offer multiple price points without compromising quality or style.
Design Meets Purpose
With materials selected, we focused on creating designs that felt fresh and retail-inspired while remaining practical for everyday wine transport. Whether it was a clean kraft paper 2-bottle tote or a padded 6-bottle RPET design, each concept balanced visual appeal with functionality.
We also explored adjustable dividers, sturdy handles, and sleek closures. Little details that elevated the experience and made the product feel more premium.
From Concept to Creation
Once the client narrowed down their preferences, we moved quickly into sample production. This allowed them to present real, tangible pieces that aligned with the vision and ultimately helped them win the order.
A Toast to Thoughtful Merch
What made this project special was the perfect blend of purpose-driven materials, price flexibility, and intentional design. It’s another example of how branded merchandise, when done right, can feel less like a giveaway and more like a lifestyle accessory.
We'll be sharing photos of the final concepts and materials below.
